What are our Steering Groups?

Our Steering Group is an asset to Vision Support. The Steering Group members are all people with lived experience of vision impairment. The group is chaired by John Ramm and the agenda for each meeting is developed in partnership between the charity and the Steering Group.

The Steering Group meet quarterly and hold us to account to our values and mission and are our critical friends. They will give us guidance, reassurance and support on most of what we do, although they will also question us and prompt discussion to consider our approach.

Our Steering Group also meet with the Board of Trustees annually to discuss and determine priorities around the strategic direction of our services as well as our fundraising strategy.

If you have a vision impairment and would like to have some input into Vision Support, our direction and our focus by joining the Steering Group, then please do let us know that you are interested by emailing information@visionsupport.org.uk for further discussion.
